Heaptalk, Jakarta — Following its success in eight existing outlets, electronics retailer PT Best Electric Indonesia (Yamada Best) inaugurated its 9th outlet at Aeon Mall Deltamas, Central Cikarang, Bekasi Regency (03/22).

According to the Chairman and CEO of Yamada Holding Noboru Yamada, in this 9th store, Yamada Best offers 15,000 items consisting of electronic equipment, household equipment, information equipment, mobile phones, toys, games, and sanitary equipment. “This is a scale that can be said to be one of the largest in the Indonesian market,” Yamada said at a press conference in Bekasi Regency (03/21).

This outlet offers a wide variety of goods at affordable prices. He said, “However, regarding the sales target, I haven’t talked about concrete numbers yet, since we are continuing to expand and see the actual results first.”

Further, Yamada Best will add more stores in Indonesia to 30 units by 2030. To remain competitive, Yamada Best Indonesia has its strategy to massively expand its retail stores in the country. Not only big cities but several remote areas are also being targeted for expanding Yamada Best’s business coverage.

“The strategy we are currently implementing is to continue expanding in several regions in Indonesia and we hope that regional stores can also have a large market share,” said Yamada.

In his closing remarks, Yamada said that his party had made an investment of ¥200 million, nearly US$1.32 million (US$1 equals ¥151) for opening an outlet at Aeon Mall Deltamas. With this investment, he is optimistic that the market in Indonesia will continue to grow and develop.
