Heaptalk, Jakarta — The Sharia and halal lifestyle exhibition Muslim Life Fair 2024 will feature 135 exhibitors over three days on March, 8-10, in Hall B of the Jakarta International Expo (JIExpo) Kemayoran.
Occupying an area of 4,000 m2, the exhibitors come from diverse categories, namely fashion & accessories, Islamic education, halal travel & Umrah, halal herbs, sharia wedding, children & baby products, Islamic books & publishers, halal cosmetics, multi products, as well as safe & healthy halal culinary delights.
This year’s exhibition marks the third since the inaugural event in 2022 with more than 20,000 visitors annually. As the largest Sharia and halal lifestyle exhibition in Indonesia, the Muslim Life Fair 2024 provides a variety of products and services for Muslim families to meet their needs while upgrading knowledge to welcome the holy month of Ramadan 1445 Hijriah.
The month of Ramadan is a special moment for Muslims to do good deeds and share happiness. Enthusiasm for welcoming the holy month is marked by an escalation in public spending which tends to increase. The Mandiri Spending Index shows that the spending value index until April 2023, which coincides with the month of Ramadan 2023, was recorded at 156.7, an increase from the previous month which was only 136.4.
Targeting a total of 30,000 visitors
Seeing this potential, Lima Event General Manager Ilham Pradipta is optimistic that an increase in public spending can also occur in Ramadan 2024. He said, “As we approach and enter the holy month of Ramadan, the needs of Muslim families will surge. It is hoped that the presence of the Muslim Life Fair will be a momentum for Muslim families to fulfill their fasting and Eid needs. Therefore, during the holy month, Muslim communities can focus on worship.”
This year, Ilham conveyed that his party will provide numerous attractive offers at the Muslim Life Fair 2024, such as low-priced bazaars, flash sales, and low-priced redemptions of Rp5,000 for multiple products. Apart from that, the Muslim Life Fair 2024 also presents a series of compelling events such as casual talks, Islamic family talks, and the existing Serlok Kuliner program with Uki Kautsar and Reda Samudera.
In addition, there will be educational entertainment and various competitions, including the Musabaqoh Tilawatil Qur’an (MTQ) competition. Extreme sports fans can also take part in wall climbing activities. With the presence of diverse activities, Ilham is optimistic that the number of visitors to the Muslim Life Fair this year will increase with a total target of 30,000 visitors.
Celebrity Teuku Wisnu, who currently runs a fashion business called Gerai Hawa, will also enliven this event by providing enticing offers. “At Mufair, Alhamdulillah, we can optimize not only branding and promotions but also transactions. Mufair’s market has a clear niche. Therefore, our products can meet their needs,” concluded Wisnu.
