Heaptalk, Jakarta — The electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing arm of coal miner Indika Energy, ALVA announced its achievement by acquiring ISO 9001:2015 certification for Quality Management and ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management.
ISO 9001 is the international quality management standard that established basic principles for effective quality management, whereas ISO 14001 is the basic environmental management standard that focuses on sustainable practices and environmental conservation.
The manufacturer located in the Delta Silicon 6 Area, Cikarang has just begun operating since November 2022 however it has succeeded in obtaining those certification within 6 months since the start of the certification process.
The achievement process of this certification includes thorough evaluation of every operational factory aspect, development of standard procedures, and implementation of best practices in quality and environmental management. ALVA hopes that this achievement will give additional confidence for customers and business partners regarding the product quality and corporate environmental responsibility.

The ISO 9001 and 14001 certification ALVA gained is produced by the official and accredited product certification body, PT TUV Rheinland Indonesia. This company is based in Cologne, Germany that has been operating for more than 150 years as the recognized testing service provider, inspection and certification in the world. “We have proved ALVA deserves to receive the ISO 9001 and 14001 certification. This is because ALVA’s products meet the effective international quality standards and focus on sustainability,” said Board of Director of PT TUV Rheinland Indonesia, Iwan Kurniawan.
Since it first started operating, ALVA’s manufacturer has continued to pass a series of improvements as the way to reach the quality standards and high sustainability. With full commitment, ALVA has succeeded in fulfilling the strict requirements to obtain the second recognized international certification. One of them being ALVA implementing the 4.0 industry in ALVA’s factory to produce high quality products.
ALVA’s achievements are the company’s dedication to improve the standard of industry and play a bigger role in reducing the negative environmental impact of the automotive sector.
