Heaptalk, Jakarta — Shopee Indonesia has launched its new digital service, High-End Brands (HEB), which exclusively highlights high-end premium local brands from Indonesian designers.
“The trend of shopping for exclusive products via digital technology is already known in various countries, which indicates that the level of public trust in terms of security and convenience of online shopping continues to increase. The presence of HEB is expected to support the progress of Indonesian fashion designers in reaching foreign buyers and pioneer the Indonesian industry to become a key player in the global fashion industry.” Shopee Indonesia’s Executive Director, Handhika Jahja, affirmed.
The launch of Shopee’s HEB platform also involved Eight Faces of High-End Brands as a representative of the exclusivity of brand products and fashion designers in Indonesia, namely Didiet Maulana, Edward Hutabarat, Ghea Panggabean, Harry Halim, Mel Ahyar, Samudra Hartanto, Sebastian Gunawan, and Tex Saverio.
To ensure an outstanding experience in exploring Indonesia’s high-end brands, Shopee Indonesia has also set up exclusive features, including:
- Exclusive Products Curated for Buyers: displaying the curated products of local brands and designers directly with exclusive offers.
- Exclusive interface display: a clean user interface to deliver a premium shopping experience for purchasers.
- 360-degree product view: allowing users to view the curated products in detail.
- Special promotions for premium products include special and exclusive promos from diverse local premium products.
By launching this new exclusive digital platform, Shopee will provide opportunities for well-known local brands and designers to export their products globally. In the first phase, Shopee Indonesia helped around 60 local brands that are members of High-End Brands Indonesia By Shopee to reach the Southeast Asian, East Asian, and Latin American markets. Apart from simplifying local products to be exported to other countries, the High-End Brands Indonesia platform will also assist the affiliated brands in reaching customers across 514 cities and regencies in the archipelago.
