Heaptalk, Jakarta — The Ministry of PANRB bestowed awards to 10 of Indonesia’s districts/cities containing Public Service Malls (MPP) with excellent performance out of 163 MPPs nationwide.
“Based on the outcome of monitoring and evaluation of the implementation of this year’s MPP, we have given awards to the ten best MPPs in the excellent category,” said the Minister of PANRB, Abdullah Azwar Anas.
The MPP award for excellent performance is measured by various indicators, spanning the impact of the existence of this public service on increasing investment, the quality of Public Service Mall operators, community satisfaction, and ongoing efforts to improve its quality.
Around 10 Indonesia regions have seized this award, including Surabaya City, Bandung Regency, Banyuwangi District, Sidoarjo Regency, Bandung City, Hulu Sungai Selatan District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, Pekanbaru City, Magetan Regency, and Jakarta.
During the agenda, Minister Anas emphasized President Joko Widodo’s mandate to impact bureaucracy implementation for the wider community positively. For this reason, he affirmed the significance of Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) of this implementation to measure the performance of the MPP in each region.
“Implementation of MPP Monev aims to measure MPP performance by looking at the impact on increasing investment and community satisfaction and measuring the quality of MPP implementation.
The implementation of the MPP Monev followed the PANRB Ministerial Guidelines No.5/2022 concerning the Implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation of the Public Service Mal application. The assessment possessed four variables, covering service recipients, internal processes, learning and growth, and finances. Based on the monitoring and evaluation output, the data indicated progress in applying public service, including obstacles, the impact of MPP’s presence on elevating investment opportunities, community satisfaction, and completeness of services.
Around 103 MPPs selected as Monev Locus have been present from 2017 to the end of 2022. As is known, MPPs whose existence was only inaugurated this year have yet to be included in the locus assessment.
“I congratulate the region for winning the best MPP award in the excellent service category. I expect this achievement can motivate other MPPs in regions throughout Indonesia.” the Minister concluded.
