Heaptalk, Jakarta — West Kutai Regency has received an award in the category of Best Regional Legislation Award in Indonesia 2023.
At the awarding event held in Jakarta (21/11), Indonesia’s Minister of Law and Human Rights, Yasonna Hamonangan Laoly, granted this award directly to Assistant III, Sahadi, who represented the West Kutai Regional Government.
In his statement, Sahadi delivered his gratitude for selecting West Kutai Regency as Indonesia’s region that has received recognition for its success in producing Draft Regional Regulations (Ranperda) and Draft Regional Head Regulations (Ranperkada) for the welfare of regional communities.
“We present this award devoted to society in West Kutai. We will continue to make various strategic efforts to improve and provide the best services and legal certainty for regional communities,” affirmed Sahadi.
Furthermore, He elaborated that West Kutai’s achievements were due to the district government’s accomplishment in presenting appropriate legal products and transforming institutions based on outstanding public services. According to his perspective, the entire regional legislative products are frequently referred to as quality-based, aspirational, and responsive, based on the values of integrity.
As additional information, this Regional Legislation Awarding 2023 event is also a form of appreciation given by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights for the regional professional and dedicated performance in carrying out harmonization activities, rounding out and strengthening the conception of draft Regional Regulations to produce quality regulations. In this agenda, The Ministry bestowed awards to around 18 regional institutions, including West Kutai Regency.
Minister Laoly looks forward to this Regional Legislation Award 2023 event can encourage the Regional Government, Provincial Legislative Council (DPRD), and Legislative Drafter to arrange a more quality and integrity policy throughout Indonesia’s regions.
