Heaptalk, Jakarta — Photovoltaic Storage (PVS) ASEAN 2023 is held for three days on November 14-16 at the Indonesia Conference and Expo Bumi Serpong Damai (ICE BSD) Tangerang, Banten.

This exhibition is participated by 33 companies in the solar energy industry, displaying a variety of the latest innovative products, including independent and grid systems, solar charges, solar energy supplies for transportation, tracking systems, thermal storage, on and off-grid storage, software, solar cells, and solar thermal power plants.

“The first Photovoltaic & Storage ASEAN 2023 in Indonesia is an international exhibition where exhibiting companies come from China, Singapore, and several representatives in Indonesia,” said the President of Follow Me International Exhibition, Pte, Ltd Yue Mi (11/14).

President Director of PT Adhouse Clarion Events Toerangga Putra delivered PVS ASEAN 2023 presents a comprehensive series of industrial supply chains for solar energy and storage technology. Presenting this event, PVS is claimed to encourage the energy transition in Indonesia towards cleaner and renewable resources. This first edition of PVS ASEAN targets 5,000 visitors from Indonesia and countries in Southeast Asia and beyond.

Indonesia has abundant solar resources

“For you distributors/suppliers/retailers of solar energy products, EPC companies, independent power producers (IPP), utilities, industrial areas, energy companies, mining, and manufacturing, this event is aimed at you. You will gain experience, expertise, and insights from experts to increase your knowledge while building valuable connections that can help your career or business,” Toerangga explained.

According to Toerangga, Indonesia was chosen as the location for the first ASEAN PVS location since this country was considered the most prospective for implementing a solar energy transition with a number of interesting potentials. He voiced, “Including abundant solar resources, increasing energy demand, and government support for renewable energy development.”

Moreover, the country, which is located near the equator, has a tropical climate that produces abundant sunlight throughout the year. “This makes Indonesia an ideal location for solar power plants as this country has an average solar radiation of around 4.8 kWh/m2 per day or 112,000 GW per day, higher than the global average,” Toerangga concluded.
