Heaptalk, Jakarta — The peak celebration of the 24th anniversary of the West Kutai Regency will be held on November 5, 2023. According to West Kutai Regent FX Yapan, this golden momentum must be leveraged well to grow fellowship and mutual cooperation for a better regency.
FX Yapan also invited the public to attend the Dahau Festival as a series of celebrations for the 24th anniversary of West Kutai which is organized for fourteen days from October 23 to November 5. He said, “I invite the public to attend and make the 24th anniversary of West Kutai a success. This year there are lots of appealing events being held, including breaking the Muri record.”
Apart from that, this year’s Dahau Sendawar Festival is more festive with the participation of MSMEs. At the exhibition stands located under the Lamin traditional house, they exhibited various food, drink, and handicraft products. In this way, this exhibition is expected to stimulate the community’s economic turnaround.
“We can see that the enthusiasm of the people who come to visit our MSMEs at this exhibition is extraordinary. Hopefully, the circulation of money at this moment can be even better. Previously, we have reached billions of rupiah,” FX Yapan explained.
Further, FX Yapan admitted that West Kutai is one of the regencies in East Kalimantan Province which has beautiful sunsets. He added, “This can be seen during the three days of the 24th West Kutai Anniversary event. Surely this view can be an attraction for tourists to stop by.”
In his closing remarks, FX Yapan hoped that the people of West Kutai would become more prosperous with their economy continuing to move forward as the West Kutai Regency ages.
