We provide an innovative solution in terms of electric mobility by presenting The All New Nissan LEAF and Nissan Kicks e-power,” stated Tan Kim Piauw, Sales & Marketing Director of PT. Nissan Motor Distributor Indonesia

Tan added The All-New Nissan LEAF is the first mass-marketed electric vehicle that to date, has attained a sales rate of over 500,000 units worldwide. Reshaping its products, Nissan has escalated the battery capacity of its all-electric vehicle variants from 1.57kWh to 2.06kWh, which further enables the driving estimation to rise by 30% with EV Mode. The Company also has upgraded the EV’s power, from 129PS to 136PS as well as its torque, from 260Nm to 280Nm. Supported by a modern and trendy design, Nissan is optimistic about delivering a great experience to its consumers through these products.

Regarding the improvement, Tan also mentioned the products has equipped with other Nissan’s revolutionary technology, such as an e-pedal that reduces drivers’ complexity in moving from one pedal to another pedal. E-POWER technology, initially launched in Indonesia during Nissan Kicks, allows its users to enjoy electric vehicles without an external charger. By employing the system, Nissan EV products are 100% driven by an electrical motor, while a gasoline engine is solely utilized to charge battery power. Through this innovation, Nissan has increased fuel usage efficiency in its products.
