Heaptalk, Jakarta — Bank Mandiri introduced a quick commerce feature in the Livin’ by Mandiri app in collaboration with Mindstores to facilitate customers’ meeting their daily needs directly within a single app. This innovation is expected to make the app a financial service and a digital lifestyle hub.
More than 29 million users can access the recent feature without switching to another app or performing additional registration. Through the Sukha feature in Livin, customers can directly purchase essentials such as food, beverages, and household items. Products can be immediately delivered through Alfamart’s extensive network of stores.
“This collaboration is a strategic step for Bank Mandiri to expand its digital services while providing real added value to customers. We aim to create a more integrated user experience and ease customers’ daily activities,” stated Erin Young, SPV Transaction Banking Retail Sales at Bank Mandiri, as quoted by Pasardana.
Oky Prasetyo, Head of Operation at Mindstores, revealed that the quick commerce feature was developed with the Mindstores Commerce Platform (MCP), which prioritizes flexibility and speed. The microservices architecture approach allows each system component to work independently, improving stability and efficiency.
To expand the service coverage area
“Meanwhile, an API-first approach ensures seamless integration between Livin’ and our system. Cloud-native technology guarantees high efficiency and scalability, while the headless architecture allows for more flexible front-end development, giving full freedom to create the best user experience,” Oky explained.
On the other hand, Mateus Radiman, Virtual Store General Manager at PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya, expressed his appreciation for Alfamart’s involvement in this innovation. The collaboration allows Bank Mandiri customers to enjoy the convenience of shopping while taking advantage of attractive promotions.
Mateus said, “We are proud to be part of an initiative that brings modern solutions to the community. With our extensive network, we are ready to support this service to be even closer to consumers.”
In advance, Bank Mandiri, Mindstores, and Alfamart will continue to develop the service by adding new features and expanding the coverage area. This initiative aligns with Bank Mandiri’s mission to provide technology-based services that are relevant and beneficial to the community in the digital era.
