With its various advanced technology, the KIA EV9 GT-Line is officially traded for US$124,819 (around Rp.1.9 billion) on the road in Jakarta.
Heaptalk, Jakarta — PT Kreta Indo Artha (KIA) releases its latest SUV electric vehicle, the KIA EV9 GT-Line, at the GIIAS 2023 exhibition.
The presence of this SUV electric car in this event marks its debut in Southeast Asia. Based on the company’s statement, Indonesia becomes the first targeted market to introduce the EV9 GT-Line series considering the positive trends of EVs industry in the archipelago.
The President Director of PT, Kreta Indo Artha, revealed, “We are proud to launch the KIA EV9 GT-Line, a brand new Battery Electric Vehicle SUV. This launch is part of KIA’s support in supporting government programs related to the electrification of vehicles in Indonesia,”
As GT-Line series, the EV car is equipped with two electric motors with 385 PS and 700 Nm of torque. KIA EV9 can reach 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds with its specifications. EV9 GT-Line is also equipped with a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 99.8 kWh, capable of exploring up to a distance of 497 kilometers when the battery is fully charged. With a large battery capacity, KIA has an EV fuel economy record of only 228wh/km.
Various advanced features are embedded in EV9, spanning Wireless Charging, Ventilated, and Heated Seats in the first and second rows, Relaxation Seats in the first and second rows, Dynamic Body Care in the second row, Dual Panoramic Sunroof, Head Up Display, the Premium Sound System from Meridian with 14 speakers.
“KIA EV9 GT-Line is the latest electric vehicle from KIA that is here to fulfill market demands for a full-size, zero-emission SUV series with a different experience,” added Andrew.
KIA has also embedded several safety features, including Forward Collision-avoidance Assist with Junction turning and Crossing, Lane Following Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, Smart Cruise Control, Blind Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Blind Spot View Monitor, High Beam Assist, Driver Attention Warning, Safe Exit Assist, Safe Exit Warning, Highway Driving Assist, and Highway Driving Pilot.
The driver can also park their car automatically with the support of the KIA EV9 GT-Line’s advanced Remote Smart Parking Assist 2. The KIA EV9 GT-Line also has Vehicle to Load (V2L) and Vehicle to Vehicle (V2V) features to distribute electric power to household electronic devices and other electric vehicles.
