Heaptalk, Jakarta — To celebrate the Eid holiday, online travel agency (OTA) Tiket.com has introduced its Tiket Hari Raya (THR) Termeriah program from March 17 to March 31, 2025. The initiative aims to make travel more accessible and affordable for Indonesians during the festive season.

During a press conference in Jakarta on Monday (17/1), Gaery Undarsa, Co-Founder & Chief Marketing Officer of Tiket.com, stated, “Through the THR Termeriah program, we aim to help people realize their travel plans more easily and economically, making the moments of homecoming and vacation even more joyful.”

“Citing predictions from the Ministry of Transportation, around 146.48 million people, or more than 52% of Indonesia’s total population, are expected to travel during the 2025 Eid holiday, with the majority coming from West Java, East Java, and Central Java. Data from Tiket.com also shows a significant increase in bookings ahead of this year’s Eid holiday period, with transportation ticket sales up by 27%, accommodation by 41%, and travel activities by 69% compared to last year’s Eid period,” Gaery elaborated.

The program offers discounts of up to 50% plus extra cashback of up to IDR 600,000 for all travel needs, both domestic and international, throughout the month. Tiket.com also provides comprehensive homecoming transportation solutions, including flights, trains, ferries, buses, shuttles, car rentals, and airport transfers.

“As one of the most sought-after travel needs ahead of the long holiday, Tiket.com is committed to accommodating transportation demands by partnering as a ticket purchasing platform for Whoosh, making it easier for people to plan their trips,” Gaery added.

Deputy for Marketing, Ni Made Ayu Marthini, emphasized that the program aligns with the government’s efforts to boost domestic tourism. “We at the Ministry of Tourism, particularly the Marketing Deputy, appreciate Tiket.com’s initiative in launching the THR Termeriah promo. This program also encourages more domestic tourists to explore destinations they have never visited in Indonesia,” Made concluded.

The THR Termeriah program is expected to significantly benefit travelers, making their Eid holiday experiences more memorable and affordable.
