Heaptalk, Jakarta — It is difficult to keep a company’s operations running in the event of a pandemic. It appears to be true, particularly for new businesses (startups). Despite this, a number of startups, including Ternak Uang, are beginning to demonstrate their strength in these difficult circumstances.

It has taken some time for the Indonesian public to notice the start-up, which will celebrate its first anniversary on August 7, 2021, but it is gaining traction, particularly among young people.

Of course, there are processes, achievements, and unforgettable moments experienced by Raymond Chin, Timothy Ronald, and Felicia Putri Tjiasaka’s start-up in the first year of his business journey in Indonesia. This is an interesting Ternak Uang fact that you should be aware of.

Reason of Ternak Uang establishment

Raymond Chin and Timothy Ronald began their journey on August 7, 2020, when the Ternak Uang website went live. The two young men were inspired to start their business as a result of the country’s pandemic conditions at the time.

“At the same time as the pandemic occurred, some people became aware of the importance of investing. The significant increase in investor growth that occurred during the corona period demonstrates this (coronial investors). As a result, Ternak Uang is committed to providing new investors with the necessary education and briefing.” Raymond Chin, Ternak Uang’s Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, shared his thoughts.

Raymond and Timothy invited Felicia to join them after some time had passed. Felicia is a financial and investment professional who recently received her CFA level 3 certification.

The meaning behind Ternak Uang

Raymond believes that, in accordance with the adage “name is prayer,” this company has the potential to become a platform for young entrepreneurs to grow their businesses. “Ternak Uang, means money livestock, as the name implies, is analogous to money that is constantly growing and developing. It is not static and silent, but it can be developed “Raymond Chin chimed in.

Pioneer in TikTok

TikTok has so far been primarily used to create content for the entertainment industry. Ternak Uang, on the other hand, is a unique case. According to  Timothy Ronald, Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer of Ternak Uang, used the short video platform as an educational tool with an investment theme.

In fact, Timothy was one of the first Tiktok stock content creators who could transform himself into a different character, and he quickly captured the attention of many young people interested in investing and financial planning at the time.

Timothy’s presence had a positive impact on Ternak Uang’s early development, albeit in an indirect way.

Popular Just as it was born

The Indonesian people’s trust in Ternak Uang is beginning to emerge as a result of Timothy’s presence. Even before Cash Livestock was officially ‘born,’ it was discovered that around 300 people had registered before the application was released.

Demography

Ternak Uang is primarily aimed at the all Indonesian people generally. However, Raymond stated that Ternak Uang is intended for the younger generation who want to learn about finance and investment. He also described the demographics and user penetrations of Ternak Uang users in Indonesia.

“The majority of users are between the ages of 24 and under, with some as young as 14 years old. Then there are some users between the ages of 25 and 35 “Raymond Chin elaborated.

Meanwhile, the Greater Jakarta area continues to dominate the distribution of user areas, followed by an almost evenly distributed distribution throughout Indonesia, then to eastern Indonesia.

Current active users

For the past year, Ternak Uang has had over 351,000 users. This startup has consistently seen a 30 percent increase in monthly user growth since its inception.

The Growth Plan

Raymond hopes that by establishing Ternak Uang, he can inspire the younger generation to become more financially literate and willing to invest, thereby shifting the wheels of the national economy in a more forward-thinking direction.

“In the short term, we want to ensure that we continue to provide relevant services to younger generations interested in learning about finance. Enhance the overall quality of services provided by Animal Money Academy, TUtoring, and other organizations, for example “He continued to speak.

“In terms of long-term strategy,” Raymond Chin concluded, “we hope to strengthen the investor community as a platform that can empower fellow investors to communicate with one another.“
