PermataBank provides BI-FAST to transfer the GoPay balance into the bank. This feature has a limit of Rp250 million per transaction.
Heaptalk, Jakarta — PT Bank Permata Tbk announced its collaboration with GoPay to implement the GoPay balance transfer service feature to the Bank account through BI-FAST access.
This feature allows customers to make fund transfers more efficiently and quickly with lower admin fees. In addition, this feature has a maximum transaction limit of up to Rp250 million for each transaction.
The Director of Wholesale Banking of PermataBank, Darwin Wibowo, revealed, “Currently, cashless payment methods are increasingly in demand by society. This collaboration, through the application of BI-FAST services through our API channel, demonstrates the superiority of PermataAPI technology to improve outstanding service for customers by prioritizing technological innovation for Indonesia’s economic development.”
According to him, customer transactions are still dominated by financial transactions, such as transfers and purchases/payments. However, Darwin also notices that non-financial transactions continue to elevate, particularly related to lifestyle and secondary customer requisites. To support this matter, PermataBank continues to reinforce its digital platforms and perform strategic cooperation with several partners from diverse industries, such as Tokopedia (e-commerce), Midtrans, Xendit, Doku (payment gateway), and Contour (blockchain).
As it is known, Permata Bank was one of the first banks to introduce API services in Indonesia and has facilitated more than 150 services, such as opening digital accounts, payments, transfers, electronic money top-ups, and game voucher refills. This banking company has entered into API collaborations with over 2,000 business partners from diverse sectors, spanning fintech, securities, payment gateways, and e-commerce.
“We always try to understand customers’ increasingly dynamic needs, especially in banking transactions. For this reason, we continue to adopt and implement the latest technology that is easy, fast, and safe to use to fulfill our customer’s banking services needs,” added Darwin.
In the first quarter of 2023, PermataBank closed its net revenue worth Rp755.9 billion, increasing 1% YoY compared to the former worth Rp750.3 billion in a similar period of 2022. In terms of intermediation, this banking company has also channeled Sharia credit and financing access, attaining Rp130 trillion in Q1 2023.
