Conducting a Roadshow to increase financial literacy and reduce fraudulent investment cases, Reku targets educating society in 26 Indonesian cities.
Heaptalk, Jakarta — Indonesia‘s crypto exchange and marketplace startup, Reku, is increasingly trying to penetrate the market after securing US$11 million in Series A funding from AC Ventures and other involved investors. After rebranding earlier, this fintech startup held a ReKru Roadshow event in 26 cities in Indonesia.
This agenda aims to enhance society’s financial literacy, perceiving Indonesia’s high number of fraudulent investment cases. As delivered by the Investment Alert Task Force of Indonesia‘s Financial Authority (SWI OJK), fraudulent investment losses reached US$7.4 billion (around Rp109.67 trillion) in 2022.
The Head of the Community of Reku, Genta Mansyur, admitted, “Observing the information gap regarding the crypto industry in society which has caused losses to many parties, Reku believes in the importance of disseminating comprehensive and accurate information about security and the proper way to invest. This matter aligns with Reku’s intentions to elevate the financial literacy of society in the country,”
The ReKru Roadshow implementation invites thousands of participants to participate in various exciting activities, ranging from seminars and workshops on investment and how to be a wise investment, including e-sport tournaments.
Participants will also be able to meet and expand relationships with the crypto community in their respective regions, such as Semarang, Surabaya, Medan, Indramayu, Sukabumi, Majalengka, Lombok Tengah, Jember, Depok, Bireuen, Gresik, Brebes, Nias, Tangerang, Yogyakarta, Deli Serdang, Mataram, Bandung, South Jakarta, and Samosir.
Apart from presenting attractive agenda in the roadshow, this startup also plans to introduce its latest feature in the mobile application, such as staking crypto assets on the blockchain, lightning and pro modes for beginners and pro users, and social features that allow interaction among users. This latest feature completes the Reku’s superiority recognized by Indonesian crypto investors, with user-friendly, competitive fees and optimal transaction speed.
