Jakarta, December 9, 2025 – The Ministry of Creative Economy/Creative Economy Agency (Kemenparekraf/Barekraf) reaffirmed its commitment to accelerating the export of national creative products. Through the Deputy for Cultural Creativity and Design, Kemenparekraf successfully organized ASIK (Akselerasi Ekspor Kreasi Indonesia) Fashion Connect 2025, a strategic platform designed to bridge local fashion entrepreneurs with the international market.
The main event, held at the National Library of Indonesia on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, marked the culmination of the ASIK Batch I training program. Deputy Minister of Creative Economy, Irene, stated that ASIK Fashion Connect is more than just a celebration; it is “one of the opportunities to enter the export market, a space for collaboration and networking to strengthen the chances of entering the global market.”
Connecting Local Creativity with Global Business Networks
Carrying the theme ‘Connecting Indonesian Creativity to the Global Market’, ASIK Fashion Connect was designed as an integrated activity combining:
- Business Matching and Networking Forum through Creative Brand Presentation.
- Fashion Exhibition and Fashion Show.
Yuke Sri Rahayu, Deputy for Cultural Creativity and Design, emphasized ASIK Fashion Connect’s role as a platform connecting local creativity with international business and fashion networks. “Through collaboration between creative entrepreneurs, buyers, and global fashion industry stakeholders, this event showcases a new face of Indonesian fashion that is distinctive, competitive, and export-oriented,” she explained.
12 Featured Brands Ready for Action
Kemenparekraf facilitated 12 brands (10 fashion brands and 2 accessory brands) that were selected through curation from the ASIK Batch I program participants and deemed ready to penetrate the global market.
Through the brand presentation activity, these 12 labels met directly with national and international buyers. This forum is expected to open new business opportunities, ranging from exports and joint collections to licensing.
The twelve selected brands that showcased their signature collections with narratives of sustainability and the potential of Indonesian fashion were:
- Rengganis
- KaIND
- ASTIGA LEATHER
- Rubysh
- BRILIANTO
- dots Indonesia
- Batik Widayati
- Anantari
- GLOESHOES
- ALRAFI

- maima
In addition to the presentations, there was a Creative Export Corner area, a mini exhibition displaying products and catalogs from the selected participants, accessible directly to buyers and the media.
This series of activities affirms Kemenparekraf’s vision to increase global exposure for Indonesia’s potential in modest fashion, sustainable fashion, and craft-based design, while building sustainable networks to strengthen national creative economy growth.
ASIK Fashion Connect is tangible proof that Indonesian culture, creativity, and creative economy possess vast potential for development through connection, collaboration, and the courage to enter the world market.
