Heaptalk, Jakarta — Indonesia’s agritech startup Elevarm raises US$4.25 million in Pre-Series A funding, or around Rp70 billion, led by Intudo Ventures, with continued participation from existing investors, including Insignia Ventures and 500 Global. The startup will allocate to develop AI-driven solutions that enhance farmers’ productivity, expand high-quality seed varieties, and create advanced agricultural inputs that improve soil health, biodiversity, and crop resilience.
Previously, Elevarm also secured multiple funding rounds, beginning with a pre-seed investment of US$1.39 million from Insignia Ventures Partners in 2022. The company raised US$2.6 million in its first seed round from Insignia Ventures Partners, 500 Global, and Gibran Huzaifah in 2023, followed by an additional US$1 million in a subsequent round from Amartha, Rabo Foundation, and Scala.

This startup operates a business model that produces and distributes premium agricultural inputs, including high-quality seeds, biofertilizers, and eco-friendly pest control products. In addition, its research and development division, NextBio, aims to advance sustainable agricultural practices. AI plays a pivotal role in Elevarm’s strategy to enhance precision farming. The company’s AI-powered platform delivers real-time data insights and algorithm-based recommendations to field teams, enabling the adoption of precision agriculture techniques such as integrated pest management, efficient irrigation systems, and optimized planting strategies. This data-driven approach has proven effective in boosting crop yields while minimizing environmental impact. Elevarm’s internal data indicates a reduction of up to 706 tCO₂e in greenhouse gas emissions, alongside notable improvements in soil health.
