Heaptalk, Jakarta — Maintaining the quality of archive management so that it remains well administered, the East Kutai Library and Archives Service (Dispusip) held a socialization activity for Regent Regulation Number 41 of 2022 concerning Guidelines for Maintained Archives Management and Number 42 of 2022 concerning Guidelines for Transfer of Archive Media at the Akasia Room (11/09).
The activity is opened directly by the General Administration Assistant Secretary of the Cabinet of East Kutai, Jamiatulkhair Daik, representing the Regent of East Kutai, Ardiansyah Sulaiman. During the occasion, he affirmed this momentum is expected to be an opportunity for the entire parties, particularly for Dispusip and Regional Apparatus Organization (OPD), to unify their vision in realizing record management.
“During this activity, participants are expected to comprehend archive management procedures for the archive management, with the aim that the administration of the East Kutai Regency government can be adequately archived,” explained Jami, witnessed by the East Kutai Dispusip representative, namely the Head of the Archive Development Division of the East Kutai Dispusip, Yayu Eka, and a resource person from the Coordinator of the Regional Archives Organization Group for the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia (ANRI), Sri Wulandari.
As accountability evidence, Jami claimed this agenda is critical to improving comprehensive and quality archive management. “I expect the participants can utilize this opportunity to elevate their knowledge and insight in tackling archives management and presenting archives into complete information and legally recognized within the district government of East Kutai, following central regulations issued by the National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia,” affirmed Jami.
Meanwhile, during her presentation, the Coordinator of the ANRI Region 1 Archives Organizing Group, Sri Wulandari, explained how to create an archive consisting of a list and file contents and report a copy of a dynamic archive that is categorized as a preserved archive to ANRI in the East Kutai OPD environment.
“Our objective is to understand asset archive management and ensure archives are maintained following archival principles and rules.” Sri, in her closing statement.
