Heaptalk, Jakarta — PT Dyandra Media International, Tbk (Dyandra) with the ticker code DYAN recorded revenue of Rp1.329 trillion approximately US$83.7 million (US$1 equals Rp15,881) for the 2023 financial year, which rose 10% compared to the previous year of Rp1.210 trillion or nearly US$76.2 million.
Throughout 2023, the company’s revenue was supported by its four main businesses, namely event/exhibition organizers worth Rp1,080 trillion (81%), convention and exhibition halls worth Rp165.7 billion (12%), hotels worth Rp52.2 billion (4%), and event supporters worth Rp40.6 billion (3%).
Along with rising revenue, DYAN’s net profit also experienced annual growth of 129% year over year (yoy) from Rp30.7 billion or nearly US$1.9 million in 2022 to Rp70.1 billion approximately US$4.4 million in 2023. Gross profit margin increased 7% in 2023 to Rp393.2 billion. The company also posted EBITDA growth in 2023 of 31% which reached Rp175.1 billion.
On the other hand, the company’s total assets gained an 11% increment on an annual basis to Rp1,204 trillion as of December 31, 2023. In the same period in 2022, the company’s total assets were worth Rp1.088 trillion. The growth in total assets was also supported by an increase in projects in progress amounting to Rp110.5 billion, one of which was the NCT music concert. Meanwhile, total liabilities also rose 5.8% on an annual basis to Rp611.4 billion.
Targeting 10% additional income
Dyandra President Director Daswar Marpaung delivered that the company’s performance growth was increasingly positive, supported by growing market demand for the meeting, incentive, convention, and exhibition (MICE) industry throughout 2023, both from the association, private, and government markets, which was reflected in the growth in revenue and profits. The market potential for the MICE industry in 2024 is expected to continue to grow positively.
The company also strives to expand its market share in the MICE industry, scale up the number of events and music concerts held both locally and internationally, encourage synergy between business units, and strengthen the company’s positioning in the tourism leisure industry as a venue operator. Looking at several existing business prospects, DYAN is targeting an increment in company revenue of up to 10% for the 2024 financial year.
One of the business units of Dyandra Promosindo will hold the Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) from April 30 to May 24 2024 at JIExpo Kemayoran. Apart from that, there will be several events in 2024, including The 48th IPA Convention and Exhibition on May 14-16 at ICE BSD, The 22nd IFRA Business Expo on August 16-18 at JCC, Projek-D Music Festival Vol 3 on September 7 -8 at De Tjolomadoe Solo, as well as Sunset in the Garden at Bogor Botanical Gardens on April 27-28, Bali Botanical Gardens on May 25-26, Cibodas Botanical Gardens on June 29-30.
Meanwhile, the PT Nusa Dua Indonesia convention and exhibition hall business unit will host several events at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center property, including the Asia Pacific Media Forum on May 1-3 and the World Water Forum (WWF) 2024 on May 18-24 which will be attended by more than 10,000 participants from 172 countries.
