With the new leaders, Minister Arifin Tasrif asked SKK Migas and Cooperation Contractors (KKKS) to increase national oil and gas production.
Heaptalk, Jakarta — The Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) appoints high-ranking officials within the Special Task Force for Upstream Oil and Gas Business Activities (SKK Migas).
In more detail, the list of this recent positions includes, Dwi Soetjipto who returns to the head of the organization, Nanang Abdul Manaf as deputy head, and Shinta Damayanti as secretary.
The inauguration and the oath taking was held at the Chairul Saleh Building, Office of the Secretariat General of the ESDM Ministry, Jakarta in conjunction with the inauguration of senior high-ranking officials at the Ministry (12/05).
Minister Arifin Tasrif delivered that SKK Migas and Cooperation Contractors (KKKS) should strive to increase national oil and gas production, including drilling development wells, massive workover, and well service activities. Arifin asked SKK Migas to make efforts and breakthroughs in oil and gas production to achieve the state budget target.
He urged the organization and its partners to accelerate the oil production target to reduce imports. This measure will assist the government to have more space to finance the development of renewable energy.
Arifin reminded all the organization leaders and employees to maintain their integrity, not abuse their authority, and be committed to carrying out their duties for the benefit of the organization. By doing that, he expected that the organization can make a real and optimal contribution to the nation and state. In addition, all levels of the organization members need to have a sense of crisis towards the environment in the current situation and conditions.
Latest composition of SKK Migas leadership
The inauguration activity is a follow-up to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Indonesia No. 51/M of 2022 on the Dismissal and Appointment of the Head of the SKK Migas and implementation of the Decree of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources No. 284.K/KP. 05/MEM.S/2022 on Dismissal and Appointment of Leadership Positions within SKK Migas.
Besides, the inauguration of leading officials at the organization is also an implementation of the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation No. 2 of 2022 on the Organization and Work Procedures of SKK Migas.
