Heaptalk, Jakarta — Ducati officially unveiled the Panigale V4 7G in Indonesia on Saturday (8/2) during an exclusive launch event in Jakarta.
“We are bringing the Ducati Panigale V4 S to Indonesia, a masterpiece of technology and performance that redefines superbike standards, delivering unparalleled riding satisfaction. This seventh-generation Panigale V4 is not only technologically advanced and exquisitely designed but is also crafted to carry forward Ducati Superbike’s legacy of success while embodying three core values: Style, Sophistication, and Performance,” stated Jimmy Budhijanto, CEO of Ducati Indonesia.
The new Panigale V4 offers a professional racing sensation, equipped with MotoGP-derived technology, including a desmodromic V4 engine, counter-rotating crankshaft, and advanced chassis and electronics. This motorcycle enhances rider skills, instills confidence, and pushes them beyond limits on the track.
Lighter and more powerful than its predecessor, the new Panigale V4 is powered by the Desmosedici Stradale engine, inspired by Ducati’s MotoGP powertrain. This 90° V4 engine features a desmodromic distribution system, counter-rotating crankshaft, and Twin Pulse timing, delivering an exhaust note reminiscent of the Desmosedici GP.
“The Desmosedici Stradale in the new Panigale V4 features upgraded cam distribution with a higher lift and profile. The alternator and oil pump are identical to those on the Panigale V4 R, while the gearbox drum is sourced from the Superleggera V4. The variable-length intake system has been improved, offering a flow distance of 25 mm in the short configuration and 80 mm in the long configuration,” Jimmy explained.
In terms of weight, the new Panigale V4 S is 2 kg lighter (187 kg) and boasts an additional 0.5 hp. The Euro5+ compliant engine produces 216 hp at 13,500 rpm and 12.3 Kgm of torque at 11,250 rpm. These figures can be increased to 228 hp with the Ducati Performance racing exhaust by Akrapovič.
The 2025 Panigale V4 is equipped with a comprehensive suite of electronic controls, including Ducati Traction Control DVO, Slide Control, Wheelie Control DVO, Power Launch DVO, Engine Brake Control, and Ducati Quick Shift 2.0, enabling quicker gear shifts without a micro switch. This motorbike Panigale V4 S is priced at USD 73.405, equal to Rp1.2 billion for the Indonesian market.
“The new 6.9-inch dashboard has an 8:3 aspect ratio, ensuring optimal readability even in daylight thanks to Optical Bonding technology. The new Track display mode provides real-time parameters such as g-meter for lateral and longitudinal acceleration, Power & Torque for power and torque output, and Lean Angle, which indicates lean angles, throttle openings, and brake pressure. All this information aids riders in their pursuit of maximum performance on the track,” Jimmy added.
