Heaptalk, Jakarta — KoinWorks collaborates with e-commerce for construction materials, PT Tokban Graha Teknologi, to provide Tokban PayLater with a limit of up to Rp2 billion, nearly US$126,000 (US$1 equals Rp15,878).
The buy now pay later (BNPL) service can be accessed by Tokban users to obtain other payment options in purchasing construction materials which has been a common obstacle for SMEs. KoinWorks CEO and co-founder Benedicto Haryono said that through KoinPaylater, his party is expanding its services to industrial business players who only have limited options to streamline their business.
“Tokban as a technology company certainly has the same vision with us to provide products and services that are accessible to its users,” Benedicto said.
Through Tokban PayLater, SMEs can purchase and fulfill construction materials without finding any difficulty. Moreover, the business of the sellers are expected to grow with this new service. The business growth of the consumers and the sellers, later, can positively contribute to the construction sector in Indonesia.
One of the building material store owner in Bogor named Susan conveyed her great experience through Tokban PayLater to develop her business. She explained, “Thanks to Tokban PayLater, we can buy building materials with payment on time, thereby helping our shop in its business development. Our store can shop for new goods by looking at market needs, without having to add more capital.”
To take advantage of Tokban PayLater, building shop owners can register a user account on Tokban. Then, users apply for Tokban PayLater access by completing their personal identity, ID card, and facial verification. After 1×24 hours of registration being processed, users can access the Tokban PayLater feature.
Founded in 2020, Tokban carries a mission to simplify the provision of building materials. This startup seeks to contribute to development in Indonesia through strategic collaboration with various parties, including KoinWorks and building shop SMEs.
