Heaptalk, Jakarta — InterSystems announced a strategic partnership with ICS Compute to enhance healthcare data interoperability in Indonesia. This collaboration marks a significant step in accelerating the country’s digital transformation of healthcare services.
Digital transformation in the healthcare sector requires data from various systems to connect and be used collaboratively through interoperability. Unfortunately, studies show that 74% of healthcare organizations in Indonesia still face challenges with data interoperability, particularly due to geographical obstacles and the uneven distribution of healthcare facilities. Although Minister of Health Regulation No. 24 of 2022 emphasizes the importance of interoperability, gaps remain in sharing and utilizing data effectively.
To address these challenges, ICS Compute offers data interoperability services designed for Indonesia’s healthcare system needs. These services include a Clinical Data Repository, fast onboarding to Satu Sehat (Indonesia’s national health data integration system), and an analytics/BI dashboard displaying standardized Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) data.
These features enable healthcare providers to access and utilize comprehensive patient data more easily, allowing real-time data and order tracking and more efficient distribution management for pharmaceutical organizations. This is built on the InterSystems Iris for Health and Supply Chain Orchestrator platforms.
Enabling healthcare data interoperability

Both entities will promote the adoption of data interoperability standards, such as HL7 FHIR, to facilitate seamless data exchange, prevent data silos, and support better data-driven decision-making. Through this partnership, ICS Compute will enable healthcare data interoperability, leveraging InterSystems Iris for Health and Supply Chain Orchestrator platforms.
Budhi Wibawa, CEO and Founder of ICS Compute, stated that this collaboration demonstrates ICS Compute and InterSystems’ commitment to being strategic partners for the government and healthcare organizations in advancing digital health transformation in Indonesia. “By combining the expertise and resources of both companies, we hope to drive innovations and solutions that can improve healthcare quality for all Indonesians,” said Budhi (04/09).
Luciano Brustia, Regional Managing Director for Asia Pacific at InterSystems, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership. “By joining forces with ICS Compute, we aim to create a more connected healthcare ecosystem that benefits patients and providers,” Brustia concluded.
