Davigo introduced its latest Dragon-S electric motorbike at IIMS 2023 with a 2,000-watt capacity and a 72v 35ah battery that can travel 120 km.
Heaptalk, Jakarta — An Indonesian-based company producing electric motorcycles, Davigo, launched its newest product, namely the Dragon-S at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2023 which takes place on February 16-26 at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta.
The electric motor has a capacity of 2,000 watts and a 72v35ah battery. With one battery, Dragon-S can travel 120 km. Another advantage of Dragon-S is that it can reach speeds of up to 75 km per hour.
“Actually, in recent times there have been many who have asked about this product since we published it on the official Davigo website, but we have not yet informed you of the specs, at this time we can only provide detailed specs as now this product has been officially launched,” said Aprizal General Manager of Davigo.
Due to the long distance traveled, Davigo users can benefit from low costs for daily transportation mobility. For charging, Dragon-S requires only 360 watts of power. Apart from that, electric motorbikes are subject to reasonable annual taxes and there are no routine services such as replacement and others, making the users can retrench expenses. Davigo also provides a warranty for the Dragon-S battery for 2 years.
In addition, the use of ring 12 wheels with double disc brakes differentiates this latest model from other Davigo motorbikes. Besides, Dragon S applies a keyless system that can only be turned on by pressing a button on the remote.
Priced at US$1,297 per unit
Aprizal said, “There are also many questions about Davigo’s aftersales and Davigo’s dealers. For now, there are lots of Davigo dealers in several cities besides Jakarta and Bandung.” Customers can also call Davigo’s aftersales hotline number at 150-702 to convey complaints or damages.
The Davigo Dragon-S is priced at Rp19.7 million off the road or equivalent to US$1,297 (US$1 worth Rp15,183). “For on the road, we can help with the arrangement with an additional fee of Rp2 million for the Jakarta area and an estimate of Rp2.5 million for areas outside Jakarta,” added Aprizal.
Further, Davigo will inaugurate a showroom in Surabaya in the near future. “For now, Davigo’s official showrooms are located at several points, spanning Jakarta, Tangerang, Bandung, and Jogja, while Surabaya will soon be inaugurated, an official dealer in Bali will also be opened soon, as well as many dealers spread across multiple locations,” said Aprizal.
