Heaptalk, Jakarta — PT Daimler Commercial Vehicles Indonesia (DCVI), the official distributor of Mercedes-Benz trucks and buses, celebrates its seventh anniversary this year, reflecting on a journey marked by significant milestones and robust growth.
DCVI President Director Naeem Hassim highlighted the milestone’s significance, stating, “Our seven-year journey is a testament to the collaborative efforts of our team, partners, and customers. We are proud of our progress and remain committed to delivering the highest standards of service and innovation as we advance toward an even brighter future.”
The company managed to perform achievements in 2024 as follows:

Since introducing the domestically assembled Mercedes-Benz Axor in 2017, DCVI has significantly enhanced its product offerings. Seven Axor models are certified with Domestic Component Levels (TKDN) exceeding 25%.
As part of its commitment to sustainable transportation, DCVI is set to launch several low-emission vehicles in 2024, including the Mercedes-Benz OH 1626, OF 1623, and OF 917 Euro 4. Additionally, the company will introduce Asia’s first Mercedes-Benz O500 RSD 2445 Euro 5, featuring advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
Strengthening the Industry Through Education
DCVI has also demonstrated a strong commitment to fostering Indonesia’s future workforce. Building on its success in constructing early childhood education facilities in East Nusa Tenggara in 2023, the company has taken further steps in 2024 by donating genuine Mercedes-Benz bus and truck parts to vocational schools (SMKs) in South Tangerang. These components will be used for practical training to prepare students for careers in the automotive sector.
The company’s Daimler Commercial Vehicles Apprentice Training (DCVAT) program equips vocational school graduates with the technical skills to meet Mercedes-Benz’s service and repair standards. DCVI plans to expand its contributions to education by introducing teacher training programs, student internships, and industrial visits to its facilities, further strengthening the industry’s talent pipeline.
Established in 2017, DCVI continues revolutionizing Indonesia’s commercial vehicle industry, emphasizing sustainability, cutting-edge technology, and comprehensive customer solutions. DCVI’s strategic measures include the adoption of advanced telematics systems, the expansion of after-sales services across Indonesia, and innovative programs such as Daimler Truck Connect Indonesia (DTCI), On-Site Parts Stock (OSPS), Free Service Package (FSP), and improved spare parts availability.
