Heaptalk, Jakarta — Axa Mandiri Financial Services officially introduced its latest endowment insurance product, Masa Depan Sejahtera, which translates to a prosperous future (11/05). This product targets educational protection and offers life insurance with death benefits and end-of-policy benefits.

Mandiri Masa Depan Sejahtera insurance aims to ease the burden on parents and provide protection against the rising cost of education due to inflation. Statistics Indonesia (BPS) notes that educational expenses increase by 10-15% annually. To address this issue, parents are encouraged to prepare financial plans as early as possible, one option being endowment insurance.

“Axa Mandiri believes that Mandiri Masa Depan Sejahtera can be a financial planning solution, protecting the community from future financial risks. In particular, it helps parents provide a better future for their children to pursue higher education,” said Handojo G. Kusuma, President Director of Axa Mandiri.

Offering flexibility with customizable benefits

In more detail, this insurance offers two options: Optima Plan and Maxima Plan. Maxima Plan provides several benefits if a risk of death occurs to the policyholder, including a death benefit, premium waiver, and end-of-policy benefit. Optima Plan provides death and lump-sum cash benefits if the policyholder passes away. However, if the policyholder does not pass away, they will still receive the end-of-policy benefit, applicable to both Optima and Maxima Plans.

This endowment product offers flexibility, with the amount and timing of benefits customizable to fit the family’s plans and needs, including educational protection. “Mandiri Masa Depan Sejahtera offers ease and flexibility for policyholders in determining the amount and timing of end-of-policy benefits, helping parents who are planning for their children’s education in the future,” said Rudi Nugraha, Director of Axa Mandiri.

Moreover, policyholders also contribute to supporting children with special needs, as Axa Mandiri will allocate Rp250,000 from each purchase of Mandiri Masa Depan Sejahtera to fund educational scholarships for students with special needs at Budi Daya Extraordinary School in East Jakarta.
