Heaptalk, Jakarta — AlloFresh, an Indonesian e-grocery platform, has introduced a shopping wall at Bundaran HI MRT Station from August 29 to September 27, 2024. This shopping wall aims to facilitate moms’ and commuters’ shopping for daily necessities, even on the go. MRT users can scan the barcode on the shopping wall to order the items they need.
This innovation is driven by the fact that shopping for household necessities is often postponed due to time constraints when schedules are packed with work and other activities. Meanwhile, household products might run low or out of stock, making waiting impossible.
This situation has led most mothers to choose online shopping. The Indonesia Digital Economic and Financial Outlook 2024 report from Populix shows that 54% of 1,000 respondents prefer online e-commerce as it is more efficient, offers flexible shopping hours, more affordable prices, and saves time and energy.
Sandy Maulana, VP of Marketing at AlloFresh, stated, “At AlloFresh, we are always looking for ways to make mothers’ lives easier. The shopping wall at the MRT is one way we provide a more integrated shopping experience with a modern lifestyle, giving moms a practical and efficient shopping experience even while traveling.”
Furthermore, Sandy added that moms can shop at the e-grocery platform on their way home, and the groceries can arrive within 2 hours. While shopping, they can also use the ‘Tebus Murah 1 Rupiah’ promotion available to all users in Greater Jakarta.
In addition to offering a wide range of quality products, the AlloFresh shopping wall also provides the chance to win shopping vouchers worth up to Rp5 million. Shoppers only need to take a photo of the shopping wall, upload it to their Instagram story, mention @allofresh.id, scan the barcode, and start shopping.
