Heaptalk, Jakarta — The Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) has temporarily deactivated its server as an impact on the National Data Center (PDN) hacking issue.
Head of the Information Center of TNI, Major General Nugraha Gumilar, delivered, “All servers within TNI institutions have been temporarily deactivated due to hacking of 210 central and regional institutions websites in the National Data Center (PDN),”
On this occasion, Nugraha Gumilar also commented on a blue-check-marked X account, FalcoonFeed.oi or @FalconFeedsio, which uploaded a screenshot of the sales of the Strategic Intelligence Agency (Bais TNI) system.
“The Monday’s post (06/24) explained in its written statement that the data breach was carried out by someone named MoonzHaxr. The breach included sample files with complete data sets available for sale. This violation follows a similar incident in 2021 when a Chinese group breached the internal network of the State Intelligence Agency,” he explained.
Further, Nugraha responded to the post by stating that they are investigating the breach in depth to determine its authenticity. Nevertheless, he did not clarify whether the server breach impacted the TNI website.
“Regarding the X account FalconFeed’s claim that Bais TNI data was hacked, we are conducting an in-depth investigation by the TNI cyber team,” concluded Nugraha.
