Heaptalk, Jakarta — The Tangerang Regency Government officially launched Population and Civil Registration Administration (Admindukcapil) services at all district offices in Tangerang Regency. This launch is part of the Regent and Deputy Regent’s 100-day work program to improve the quality of public services. Symbolically, the Regent and Deputy Regent launched the service at the Cikupa District Office on Thursday (April 10, 2025).
Tangerang Regent Moch. Maesyal Rasyid stated that Admindukcapil services such as ID cards (KTP), family cards (KK), birth certificates, and other civil documents at the district level represent a delegation of authority to the districts. This delegation allows residents to access 24 population administration services directly from their local district offices. They no longer need to go to the central Population and Civil Registration Office (Disdukcapil) in Tigaraksa.
“Starting today, people no longer need to wait in long queues at the central Disdukcapil. All services are now accessible at the district level, and even if the documents are not ready when residents leave, our officers will deliver them directly to their homes. This is our commitment to bringing services closer to the people,” said Regent Maesyal Rasyid.
He emphasized that all of these services are provided free of charge. He also reminded service officers to remain enthusiastic, friendly, and informative when serving the community.
“We urge service officers to stay motivated and serve with a smile. There should be no fees collected in any form unless governed by applicable regulations,” stressed the Regent. He also called on the public to report any illegal charges outside the established rules immediately.
He added that the current digital era must be utilized to improve faster, easier, and more accurate services. With the launch of this service, population administration services that were previously centralized in Tigaraksa—such as the printing of e-ID cards (KTP-el), child identity cards (KIA), family cards, birth certificates, and death certificates—can now be carried out at each district office in Tangerang Regency.
“These services are also supported by a digital system through a public service application, allowing the public to access information, register, and monitor the document process online,” he explained.
Meanwhile, Ustadz Bahromi, a Dukuh Village, Cikupa District resident, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the availability of population administration services at the district level. He hopes the program will continue so that residents no longer need to go to the Tigaraksa Government Center to obtain the necessary civil documents.
“Public services in Tangerang Regency are improving daily, and one of the improvements is the ability to print ID cards directly at the district office. This is an extraordinary breakthrough. Praise be to God, services at the Cikupa District Office are already running well,” he said.
