Heaptalk, Jakarta — The Tangerang City Government held a verification meeting for the Budget Work Plan (RKA) of the Regional Government Work Units (SKPD) for the 2025 Fiscal Year at Atria Hotel, Tangerang, on Wednesday (09/04). This activity is a critical stage in the regional planning and budgeting process.
Herman Suwarman, the Regional Secretary of Tangerang City, commenced the activity and provided guidance. He emphasized the importance of drafting the Budget Work Plan based on policies agreed upon by the Regional Legislative Council (DPRD) and the Mayor on August 14, 2024.
The priority areas for Tangerang City’s development in 2025 include enhancing the competitiveness of human resources (HR) through science and technology, improving economic competitiveness supported by information technology, and enhancing urban infrastructure competitiveness, environmental quality, public services, and civil servant competence, all supported by information technology.

“We hope that through this verification process, we can jointly identify, correct, and refine every budget detail that has been planned. This way, the outcome of this process will positively contribute to the development and welfare of the people of Tangerang City,” Herman explained.
The 2025 Regional Budget (APBD) is drafted based on Government Regulation No. 12 of 2019 on Regional Financial Management and its related regulations. He added, “This RKA verification is crucial to ensure that each work plan proposed by the SKPD has been properly prepared, adhering to accountable and transparent financial management principles.”
Additionally, Herman hopes this activity will result in a high-quality regional budget that optimally meets the needs and expectations of Tangerang City’s residents. The verification process will be followed by discussions between the executive and legislative branches to reach a final agreement before presenting it in the plenary session of the Tangerang City Legislative Council. “Ensure that every budget work plan aligns with the actual needs on the ground and is consistent with the development vision for Tangerang City,” Herman concluded.
