Heaptalk, Jakarta — Creative Economy and Tourism Minister Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, during The Weekly Brief With Sandi Uno in Jakarta (01/22), conveyed that the government continues to reduce domestic flight ticket prices.
“Therefore, our target, namely Rp1.2 billion to Rp1.5 billion, can be achieved,” conveyed Sandi.
Sandi Uno explained that many people are still complaining about the high domestic flight ticket prices. Several journalists also asked us about the possibility to decline flight ticket prices.
“We have to find the solution by taking the further step. We continue to coordinate with the Ministry of Transportation, the Ministry of SOE, and the airline,” said Minister Sandi.
Sandi Uno stated that stakeholders are also seriously concerned about the price. The Ministry also continuously coordinates this goal with the stakeholders to perform concrete measures.

“This situation burdens business players in the creative industry and tourism sector; thus, we strive to decrease transportation costs for domestic flights to be more affordable,” uttered Sandi.
Minister Sandi Uno stated that the government is still conducting research to find out the possibility and impact of lowering domestic flight ticket prices.
”The Ministry of Creative Economy and Tourism keeps coordinating with stakeholders intensively, including the airlines. We perceived that we need to carry out concrete action to press domestic flight ticket prices to be more affordable,” concluded Sandi.
