Heaptalk, Jakarta — Regent Ardiansyah Sulaiman was appointed as chairman of the Mulawarman University Alumni Family Association (IKA Unmul) East Kutai Regency for the 2022—2027 period. The appointment is inaugurated by the general chairman of the IKA Unmul Central Executive Board who also serves as the Governor of East Kalimantan Isran Noor at Acacia Room, Gedung Serba Guna (GSG) Bukit Pelangi Sangatta (12/10).
Ardiansyah and other committees are inaugurated based on the decree of IKA Unmul East Kutai Regency No. 001/SK.PD.IKA-UNMUL/XI/2022 on the formation of the regional committee of the Alumni Family Association of Mulawarman University, East Kutai Regency.
The chief executive of the IKA Unmul Committee for East Kutai Regency Rusman Yaqud said, under the leadership of the chairman, all levels of Mulawarman alumni particularly those in East Kalimantan are expected to contribute actively to developing the region, one of which is to prepare the new national capital Ibu Kota Negara (IKN) Nusantara. “All alumni are excited about the leadership of the new chairman. Our task is to generate fighting power as alumni of Mulawarman University,” uttered Yaqud.
Ardiansyah Sulaiman thanked the Governor of East Kalimantan for taking the time to inaugurate the IKA Unmul committee for East Kutai. He delivered, “On behalf of all alumni, we express our feelings of compassion and joy. Until now, Unmul has become the only barometer of universities in East Kalimantan. I feel confident that with the existence of IKN, Unmul must be ready to be an academic barometer in building Nusantara National Capital.”
According to Ardiansyah, one of the supporting capacities is the spread of IKA Unmul in various regions. The alumni should present their dedication, knowledge, and ability in developing East Kalimantan, particularly those living in East Kutai.
“I hope that all of my colleagues in East Kutai are doing well, those who work in the government, companies, and communities, let’s collaborate to further develop East Kutai,” said Ardiansyah in his closing statement.
