Heaptalk, Jakarta — The Statistics Division of the Department of Communication and Informatics, Statistics, and Encryption (Diskominfo-SP) of Morowali Regency has received the results of the Sectoral Statistics Implementation Evaluation (EPSS) from Statistics Indonesia (BPS) at the Diskominfo-SP Head Office, Fonuasingko Complex, Bente Village, Central Bungku, Morowali.
Gladius A., Head of BPS Morowali, handed over the Sectoral Statistics Implementation Evaluation report to Badius Zaman, Head of Diskominfo-SP, accompanied by Abd Asis Padengeng, Head of the Statistics and Data Management Division.
Badius Zaman expressed his gratitude and appreciated the performance of the Statistics Division. He noted that this achievement was due to the excellent contribution and collaboration between BPS and the Department. Sectoral Statistics Implementation Evaluation is a systematic process by BPS that involves verifying and validating self-assessment information to measure the maturity level of sectoral statistics implementation.
The output of Sectoral Statistics Implementation Evaluation is the Statistics Development Index, which reflects the maturity level of sectoral statistics implementation in each government agency responsible for sectoral statistics activities.
This index is presented generally and also provided according to domains and aspects. The Statistics Development Index is one of the indicators used to assess the overall Bureaucratic Reform for all government agencies. It can also measure the achievement in implementing ‘One Data Indonesia’ and managing statistical affairs at the local government level. Morowali achieved the top position among regencies/cities in Central Sulawesi at the national level.
“Hopefully, with the Sectoral Statistics Implementation Evaluation, Diskominfo-SP Morowali will continue to improve its quality, helping to achieve a high-quality, synergistic, and sustainable ‘One Data Indonesia’ in Morowali,” concluded Badius Zaman.
