Heaptalk, Jakarta — The East Kutai Regency Government officially held a peak ceremony to commemorate the 24th East Kutai anniversary, located in the courtyard of the East Kutaim Regency Government office area, Evidence Pelangi, Sanggata.
Implementing a Unite to Move Forward as the ceremony theme, the ceremony is directly led by the Regent of East Kutai, Ardiansyah Sulaiman, accompanied by Vice Regent, Kasmidi Bulang. Several parties also attend the agenda, spanning East Kalimantan officials, Forkopimda, and traditional leaders.
In the opening remarks, Ardiansyah explained that the agenda theme represents high appreciation and appreciation for all parties involved in implementing development in East Kutai. In commemorating the 24th anniversary of East Kutai Regency, he explained that this celebration could be a moment of reflection for the district government in evaluating the extent of development progress achieved and formulating appropriate strategies and policies in dealing with multidimensional dynamics in society.
“The regency’s development was achieved due to the support and prayers of the society. During its 24-year journey, this district has made numerous strategic endeavors to expedite enhancement in the entire sectors.” Ardiansyah conveyed.
In 2022, he revealed that the regency government has accelerated in retrieving the district’s economy during the post-pandemic, with the economic development attaining 5.58%. Concurrently, the East Kutai government also managed to minimize the poverty rate from 9.81% in 2021 to 9.28% last year. On the other hand, the Village Development Index (IDS) achievement also increased by 68.11% in 2022, compared to the previous 65.94% in 2021.
With this achievement, Ardiansyah continues attracting multiple strategic investors to boost East Kutai’s economic progress. According to him, the presence of investment continuing to elevate on a large scale will be an opportunity to promote economic growth in the region.
“The East Kutai Regency Government will continue to boost development from the cities to the villages, increase the absorption of local workers, and encourage the advancement of related industries to realize the welfare of the society in the region.” Regent Ardiansyah concluded.
