The performance of regional apparatuses in implementing the development will determine the success of the East Kutai vision and mission for the 2021-2026 period.
Heaptalk, Jakarta — The East Kutai Regency Government held a meeting to control operational activities in the second quarter of 2023 in the Aston Grand Ballroom, Hotel Aston Samarinda (06/27). This meeting aims to evaluate regional apparatus programs and realize the implementation of the regional revenue and expenditure budget (APBD) in a timely manner with appropriate quality and on target.
In his opening remarks, East Kutai Regent Ardiansyah Sulaiman said that through this meeting, his party wanted to identify and anticipate difficulties that might occur as an effort to provide preventive and corrective actions. Thus, the implementation of activities is expected to run according to the plans that have been prepared.
The East Kutai regional revenue and expenditure budget for the 2023 fiscal year reaches Rp5.9 trillion. Regarding this, Ardiansyah instructed all regional apparatus heads to work hard and to manage their time effectively according to the activity implementation schedule.
Ardiansyah said, “I urge all regional apparatuses to take strategic steps to encourage the achievement of the targets that have been set.” If during the implementation of activities encounter problems or obstacles, he instructed his staff to immediately coordinate with related parties to find a solution.
Further, the performance of the regional apparatus determines the success of the East Kutai vision and mission for the 2021-2026 period which has been contained in the regional medium-term development plan (RPJMD).
“Since the regional head’s term of office is only until 2024, I ask all regional apparatuses to accelerate the realization of the regional medium-term development plan. Hopefully, today’s meeting will encourage us to immediately accelerate the development of the 2023 fiscal year with the spirit of Managing Prosperous East Kutai for All,” Ardiansyah concluded.
