The briefing activity for East Kutai One Data Portal operators is the first step of coordination and providing direction in the implementation of work.
Heaptalk, Jakarta — The Government of East Kutai through the Department of Communication and Informatics, Statistics and Encryption (Diskominfo Staper) held a briefing activity for East Kutai One Data Portal operators in the Department’s Meeting Room (05/03). The event was attended by 41 regional apparatus operators.
“The role and function of the Communication and Informatics Department as a data trustee in data checking according to the four principles of Indonesia One Data and dissemination of data to embody Indonesia One Data in East Kutai will not work properly without the support and implementation of the role of regional apparatus as data producers,” said the Secretary of East Kutai Communication and Informatics, Statistics and Encryption Department, Rasyid, at the start of the briefing (05/03).
According to Ery, his party has built East Kutai One Data Portal based on the Comprehensive Knowledge Archive Network (CKAN) through the utilization of information technology which is expected to further facilitate the workings of the bureaucracy to become more effective and efficient.
The technology is also expected to provide convenience for local governments and communities to access, utilize the available power, and be shared between systems that interact with each other.
Further, this activity is the first step of coordination as well as providing direction in the implementation of work with the main scope to fulfill and input data for each work unit into the portal.
The East Kutai One Data Portal is one of the efforts to provide quality sectoral statistical data. This portal is expected to encourage development planning, implementation, evaluation, and control that is more precise and directed.
In the implementation of Indonesia One Data in local governments, regional apparatus as data producers are expected to be able to provide data needed for regional development, primarily priority data that will be mutually agreed upon in the East Kutai One Data Forum.
