IT infrastructure network covers 100% of Blitar City
Currently, the IT infrastructure network already covers 100% of the city area, enabling people throughout the Blitar region to access the internet. Therefore, the City Government focuses on developing equipment that can bolster the utilization of the IT network. Mujianto added, “As an example, we have installed city CCTVs. However, seeing the latest conditions, we will convey to our leader that there is a newer technology that can be adopted to simplify our work in the field.”
Responding to the latest cybersecurity issues, Blitar Diskominfotik has carried out several efforts, including strengthening HR capacity and establishing a cybersecurity agency in collaboration with the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN).
In addition, the Blitar City Government is also paying attention to increasing digital literacy for regional apparatus and their communities in overcoming cybersecurity challenges. “This is our vulnerable point. Sometimes we do not understand that what we have received can be harmful to ourselves or others,” Mujianto concluded.
