Heaptalk, Karawang — Germany’s Medical Technology Company B. Braun introduced its new Technical Service facility in Karawang, Indonesia, on Wednesday (12/11). By opening this new facility, B. Braun Indonesia intends to support the Indonesian government in enhancing independence in the health industry and supporting the availability and readiness of medical equipment in the country.

This breakthrough also obtained full support from Indonesian authority. During the inauguration, the Director General for Pharmacy and Medical Equipment, Rizka Andalucia Apt. M. Pharm attended the agenda directly to open this new facility, together with Rainer Ruppel.
As cited in B. Braun’s official release, the new facility will provide repair, calibration, and spare part replacement services. This technical service facility will ensure that medical equipment works optimally, allowing health workers to deliver better services to customers. Moreover, this measure also aims to comply with Indonesian regulations regarding the local content requirement (TKDN).
