Heaptalk, Jakarta — Y.O.U, a beauty brand under the Hebe Beauty Group, has collaborated with the nonprofit organization Yayasan Daya Dara Indonesia (Lovepink) to promote the Caring Glow campaign through one of its products, the Radiance Glow Illuminating Serum (09/04).
Caring Glow reflects Y.O.U’s commitment to supporting and caring for women in Indonesia, especially regarding breast cancer. The campaign includes a series of activities, such as online and offline education and free ultrasonography (USG) breast cancer screenings at several universities and hospitals in the Jakarta Greater Area. All these activities will take place from September to October 2024.
“We hope that through this collaboration, we can raise awareness among Indonesian women about the importance of self-love and paying attention to health, especially understanding the significance of breast cancer awareness. This is also a form of Y.O.U’s care for our loyal consumers, which we express in concrete actions together with Lovepink,” said Arkanda Saecario Wicaksono, Y.O.U’s Product Marketing Manager (09/04).
Targeting young women
In this second collaboration, Dede Gracia, Chairperson of Lovepink Indonesia, welcomed the support given to breast cancer survivors and warriors through Lovepink. Dede said, “Y.O.U’s commitment is evident through their continued support. We hope the series of activities we will carry out together from September to October 2024 can expand Lovepink’s network and reach, especially among young women in Indonesia.”
According to Dede, women are more susceptible to breast cancer than men due to higher exposure to estrogen. Data shows that breast cancer is the number one killer of women. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), in 2020, there were 2.3 million breast cancer cases and 685,000 deaths globally. By the end of 2020, 7.8 million women had been living with the disease for the past five years.
Therefore, Dede emphasized the importance of women being aware of this risk, mainly since more cases are being found among young women. “With early detection, 98% of patients can recover. Lovepink’s mission is to reduce advanced-stage breast cancer patients by 2030 by providing access to education, information, early detection, and moral support for patients,” she added.

On this occasion, Aaliyah Massaid, a renowned Indonesian public figure, also participated in the Caring Glow campaign. Her positive experience with Y.O.U skincare products, especially the Radiance Glow Illuminating Serum, motivated her to join the campaign. “I also hope that through the #CaringGlow campaign, more people will realize the importance of taking care of their skin and body health and that more Indonesian women will become aware, care, and support each other,” Aaliyah said.
