Heaptalk, Tangerang – A telecommunication company Tri held Generasi Happy festival, an event that combines both education and entertainment in the form of workshops and concerts. Providing an inspiring occasion in Tangerang, the company claimed that this event is dedicated to both existing and new customers, particularly Gen Z.
SVP Head of National Sales Tri Chandra Pradyot Singh, during the press conference of Generasi Happy festival in Tangerang, stated, “This is the 8th series of Generasi Happy festival. This year, we have come to several cities, including Surabaya, Semarang, and Pontianak. We are proud to share that in Indonesia, we care about the young generation”.
Singh added that 30 percent of Indonesia’s population, or 75 million people, is Gen Z, and based on the generation behavior that spends 7 hours to 10 hours using digital platforms, digital life has become a critical point for the rising generation. For this reason, Tri held Generasi Happy to provide an inspiring event to meet the generation’s needs.
“In Banten, there are about 4 million Gen Z, and in Tangerang, particularly as the venue, there are around 600,000 population. We are very associated with Gen Z. Understanding the market, we have come up with Gen Z program,” conveyed Singh (09/17).
Singh delivered that Gen Z program is not solely about music concerts, so Tri showcased complete integrated brand engagement activation in this event. To embody this goal, Tri adopts four pillars, including digital literacy, skill development, academy, and entertainment.
SVP Head of Brand and Marketing Communication Tri Galuh Neftita said, “Through this program in Tangerang, we provide education about the importance of comprehending digital literacy for Gen Z. In this festival, we also invited inspirational figures, enabling Gen Z to get inspiration directly from the prominent figures and content creators, supporting them to channel their talents through competition, and entertaining them by inviting local and international musicians.”
The one-day festival was enlivened by multiple musicians, including Ziva Magnolya, Stars and Rabbit, Coldiac, as well as local musicians Pitu Band and Elegi. Apart from the entertainment aspect, the festival also presented an inspirational talkshow by collaborating with the well-known TV show Mata Najwa by Najwa Shihab. On this occasion, Najwa also invited a famous musician Zee JKT 48, a content creator Rian Fahardhi, and an actor Umay Shahab.
