Taiwan Expo 2024 to present advanced technology from 130 exhibitors

Prior to this event, the previous Taiwan expo managed to attract over 100,000 visitors in 2017.

The organizing of Taiwan Expo 2024 is claimed to drive and strengthen the bilateral relationship between Indonesia and Taiwan in terms of the economy, trading, and investment.

Heaptalk, Jakarta — After being postponed for several years due to the pandemic condition, the 6th Taiwan Expo 2024 will return on 16 – 18 May at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC). According to the official release, the expo which aims to amplify the bilateral relationship between Indonesia and Taiwan is  expected to attain a USD247 million transaction value. 

For information, Indonesia ranked the 13th Taiwan’s business partner in 2023. The organizing of Taiwan Expo 2024 is claimed to drive and strengthen the bilateral relationship between the two countries in terms of the economy, trading, and investment. Prior to this event, the previous Taiwan expo managed to attract over 100,000 visitors in 2017.

“We hold Taiwan Expo 2024 as the platform for Taiwan and Indonesia to strengthen relationships, create opportunities to interact, and enhance cooperation for industries. Undoubtedly, Indonesia and Taiwan are the perfect partners for each other,” stated the Chairman of the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), James C. F. Huang. 

Organized by Taiwan International Trade Administration (TITA) and TAITRA, the 2024 Taiwan Expo will showcase the Taiwan’s advanced technology to Indonesian market. Over 130 well-known companies from Taiwan to exhibit their innovation. The exhibitors will be scattered in 7 pavilions, including Taiwan Excellence, Taiwan Healthcare Pavilion, Net Zero Pavilion, Taiwan Halal, Taiwan Product Center, Smart Taipei Green Innovation, and Tainan City. 

In its implementation, the event presents three industrial areas, including medical and personal care, ICT and machinery solutions, and lifestyle. Five themes also are set to enliven the expo, including “Smart Manufacturing”, “Smart Medical, “Green and Sustainable”, “Halal”, and “Smart Lifestyle”.

To attract more visitors, the committee will invite the Indonesian famous singer Afghan to present a special performance in the “Discover Taiwan Excellence with Afghan” on May 16. Visitors can get free tickets at https://idn.taiwanexpoasean.com/en/index.html
