Heaptalk, Jakarta — Homelife Indonesia 2024 officially kicked off on Thursday, November 28, at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta. As the year’s most prominent B2B exhibition in Indonesia, the event features over 2,000 exhibitors presenting 20,000+ high-quality products across multiple sectors, unlocking a platform for global market opportunities.
Homelife Indonesia 2024 hosts ten simultaneous exhibitions, including the Building and Decoration Expo (BDE), Homelife Expo, Appliances & Electronics Show (AES), and ASEAN Sports Show. Exhibitors hail from Indonesia, Malaysia, Hong Kong, Korea, and predominantly China, showcasing cutting-edge innovations and technologies.
“This event offers a diverse range of products beneficial to manufacturers, importers, distributors, and OEM/ODM brands,” said Larissa Zhou, Country General Manager of PT Meorient Exhibition International, during the opening ceremony. Vinsensius Jemadu, Deputy of Tourism Products and Event Organizers at the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy emphasized the growing importance of the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions) industry in boosting Indonesia’s economy.
“MICE activities significantly impact various economic sectors. The government is preparing sustainable MICE strategies, including mapping venues that meet international standards and accelerating readiness by 2030,” he explained. A new platform, MICE.id, is also being developed to streamline stakeholder information access and drive more efficient business decision-making.
Strengthened Indonesia-China Relations
Luo Jie, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of the China Sporting Goods Federation highlighted the robust bilateral relations between Indonesia and China, which have deepened under the leadership of both nations.
“Strategic economic and trade cooperation has achieved significant milestones. This exhibition fosters high-quality manufacturing collaboration and supports local brands in expanding to global markets,” Luo remarked, noting the ASEAN Sports Show as a vital platform for cross-border partnerships and global market expansion.
