Heaptalk, Jakarta — Deputy for Product and Event Organizer of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf), Vinsensius Jemadu, has officially launched the Deep and Extreme Indonesia (DXI) 2024 exhibition, held at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC). (30/05)
Adopting the theme “Edge of Tomorrow: Dive Into the Depth of Extreme Sports” as the event’s theme, DXI 2024 aims to introduce and expand the extreme sports industry, augment new markets, and strengthen the tourism industry in the archipelago.
In his opening remarks, Vinsensius stated that the Thursday to Sunday exhibition is highly significant as it showcases extreme sports and tourism in Indonesia.
“We from the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy fully support this event. With the grace of God Almighty, I officially open this event,” said Vinsensius in Jakarta.
Michael Bayu Sumarijanto, President and Director of Dyandra Event Solutions, explained that DXI 2024 is an exhibition and a platform for Indonesia’s extreme and water sports industry. It represents Dyandra Event Solutions’ commitment to supporting the government’s program to strengthen the tourism sector in Indonesia.
“We are very excited to introduce this event’s theme, ‘Edge of Tomorrow: Dive Into the Depth of Extreme Sports,’ which reflects the spirit of exploration, courage, and the opportunity to explore one’s potential in extreme sports,” said Michael Bayu.
Michael Bayu also highlighted that this year’s exhibition is not just about extreme sports, but also about fostering a sense of community and inclusivity. DXI 2024 is expected to be a platform for information exchange among communities, providing a sense of belonging and unforgettable experiences for the participants.
“DXI 2024 creates deep and diverse experiences for visitors and expands the community network of various types of extreme sports. We hope for high participation from extreme sport and outdoor lifestyle enthusiasts to support this event,” he concluded.
