Heaptalk, Jakarta — In a strategic effort to boost national economic growth, Dyandra Promosindo, in collaboration with the Indonesian Franchise Association (AFI), is poised to host the 23rd International Franchise, License, and Business Concept Expo and Conference (IFRA) x ICE 2025.
The exhibition, which will carry the theme From Essential Ingredients to Extraordinary Opportunities, features over 350 brands spanning 29 diverse business sectors. It will take place for three days, from April 25th to 27th, 2025, at ICE BSD City.
“IFRA Business Expo x ICE will serve as a world-class platform that offers limitless business opportunities. Visitors can explore various investment prospects and discover ventures aligned with their interests and goals,” said Chairman of AFI, Anang Sukandar.
Anang further highlighted that the Indonesian franchise industry has shown consistent growth, recording an average annual increase of 10% to 15% since 2019. The food and beverage sector remains the most significant contributor to this enhancement.
Septo Soepriyatno, Director of Business Development at the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia, also shared positive momentum in the country’s trade performance, noting a trade surplus for five consecutive years. Indonesia’s entrepreneurship ratio is 3.35%, translating to approximately 4.9 million entrepreneurs.
“In an increasingly uncertain global environment, strengthening the domestic economy, expanding the entrepreneurial base, and stimulating consumption are crucial to maintaining economic enhancement. The Ministry of Trade will support national entrepreneurship development through franchise-based business partnerships, which we see as a key strategy for fortifying the economic foundation,” Septo affirmed.
IFRA 2025 is expected to draw over 25,000 visitors. The expo aims to substantially contribute to the growth of the franchise and licensing sectors in the Archipelago. Tickets are available for Rp60,000 per person and can be purchased online and on-site. As a special offer, a Buy 1 Get 1 Free ticket promotion is available until April 24th, 2025. Additionally, 50% discounts will be granted to civil servants (ASN), military and police personnel, medical workers, and teachers throughout the event.
“We expect that Indonesia’s franchise industry will continue to grow, generate more employment opportunities, and expand competitive business networks both domestically and globally,” Daswar Marpaung, President Director of Dyandra Promosindo, said in the press conference.
