Heaptalk, Jakarta — The International Baby Products (IBTE), Indonesia International Gifts and Housewares Expo (IGHE), and Indonesia International Electronics and Smart Appliances Expo (IEAE) Indonesia 2024 officially opened at JI Expo Jakarta on Wednesday. (08/07)
The exhibitions, running from August 7 to 9, 2024, showcase various products reflecting the latest trends and innovations to meet the increasing demands of the modern era.
The event occupies nearly 40,000 square meters, doubling in size compared to last year. It has established itself as the largest and most professional in Southeast Asia. More than 1000 exhibitors enlivened the expo, showcasing over 110,000 premium products from various countries, including Hong Kong, India, Thailand, Malaysia, Korea, and China.
AMI Chairman Sutjiadi Lukas stated that IBTE, IGHE, and IEAE 2024 offer a golden opportunity for industry players, distributors, suppliers, agents, and retailers to establish cooperation and share knowledge about their latest products and innovations.
“We hope IBTE will become an increasingly larger and more diverse annual agenda. This will allow for more industry innovation and collaboration, benefiting consumers and industry players,” said Lukas.
ASENSI Chairman Susanty Widjaja also expressed support for IBTE, which is evidenced by ASENSI’s participation in IBTE this year. She stated that ASENSI’s presence at the exhibition aims to develop local intellectual property (IP) and expand the range of products and merchandise.
“This year, ASENSI’s main focus is on developing local IP. We believe learning from other countries and adapting their best practices will strengthen our local IP position. This is why we are involved in IBTE 2024,” said Susanty.
According to her, IBTE 2024 can allow ASENSI to introduce and develop local IP to encompass products and merchandise.
“By participating in IBTE, we hope to broaden the understanding and application of local IP in the toy and baby products industry, making local IP more competitive in the global market,” added Susanty.
Furthermore, Susanty emphasized her belief that this year’s exhibition will benefit the Indonesian community and entrepreneurs and encourage international learning and cooperation.
