Heaptalk, Jakarta — Bank Sahabat Sampoerna (Bank Sampoerna) announced Sampoerna Fest 2025 will be held in four major cities in Indonesia with the aim of expanding financial literacy and inclusion (02/14).
With the concept of education and entertainment (edutainment), this event will be held in Samarinda in May 2025, Makassar in July 2025, Pekanbaru in October 2025, and Pontianak in January 2026. The lineup of musicians includes Juicy Luicy and The Changcuters. This year, the fest collaborates with the art studio Never Too Lavish (NTL) to present vests with unique designs as official merchandise.
According to Henky Suryaputra, Director of Finance & Business Planning at Bank Sampoerna, high public enthusiasm in the previous year encouraged this year’s event. “This motivates us to continue expanding the coverage of Sampoerna Fest this year by selecting other major cities, so that the public can be educated on managing finances wisely through the banking services we provide,” Henky said at the press conference at Kendal Tunnel, Central Jakarta (02/14).
The education provided will focus on introducing digital banking technology through Sampoerna Mobile Banking. Oktavia Laksmi Wardani, Fintech Product & Partnership Division Head at Bank Sampoerna, stated that this app facilitates customers to plan and manage savings practically through the digital platform.
Targeting Gen Z and Millennials
“With Sampoerna Mobile Saving, we hope to encourage the public to be more active in managing their finances. In addition to providing easy access, we also want to offer various benefits that can motivate customers to continue committing to long-term financial planning,” Oktavia said in Central Jakarta (02/14).
Targeting Gen Z and Millennials, Oktavia said that the event’s more modern approach with the edutainment format is deemed suitable for introducing financial management, especially through digital technology. The event aims to improve visitors’ knowledge and ability to manage and make wise financial decisions to achieve their desired financial goals. She voiced, “Therefore, we strive to provide relevant solutions that can support them in planning their finances more intelligently, while still enjoying the various entertainments we offer.”
Furthermore, the banking app also organizes the Sampoerna Mobile Saving lottery throughout the year, with a total prize of hundreds of millions of rupiah, as well as a grand prize draw of 1 Unit BYD Seal Premium for lucky customers once a year.
