Heaptalk, Jakarta — The Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) automotive exhibition series is back in its second host city, Surabaya. This year, GIIAS Surabaya will be held earlier than last, from August 28 to September 1, 2024, at Grand City Convex, Surabaya.

Surabaya was chosen as the second location for the GIIAS exhibition series due to its strong appeal in the national automotive market. According to Gaikindo‘s motor vehicle distribution data, East Java ranked among the top three provinces in national automotive distribution from January to April 2024, contributing nearly 10% of Indonesia’s total achievements.

“This year, GIIAS Surabaya 2024 will utilize two main halls and the entire pre-function area to accommodate the enthusiasm of participating brands and provide greater comfort for visitors exploring the exhibition area. Additionally, the outdoor area will be maximized for more engaging programs,” said Sri Vista Limbong, Project Director of GIIAS 2024.
