We hope the winners can create new tangible breakthroughs in the business industry,” The President Director of PT Wismilak Inti Makmur Tbk, Ronald Walla, said.
The food and beverage category dominates the competition
Since the kick-off period on June 8th, 2022, the Food and Beverage (F&B) business category has dominated the competition. According to the committee record, DSC Challenge has accepted participants in this sector to around 40%, demonstrating this business category still becomes a preference for society to build their business.
Recognizing the F&B category dominates this program, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners, who also served as the Founding Father of DSC, Surjanto Yasaputera, admitted, “DSC has experienced numerous food and beverage brands innovatively. As it is known, our eight finalists are dominated by the F&B business category. Several challenger products have also delivered solutions to the existing matter in society. Thus, we intend to continue to present these benefits through the DSC business competition,”
The food and beverage sector is anticipated to continue to evolve as the spike of online delivery services around multiple digital platforms in the country. Aligned with the Coach of DSC 2022, Andanu Prasetyo, numerous business practitioners perform their debut in this industry as the simplicity of the business model in conducting an end-to-end process. This opportunity would also extend market size more extensively around this sector.
To survive in the saturated food and beverage market, the DSC 2022 competition winners must amplify their brand awareness and message to be more acceptable to society. Therefore, they are also encouraged to perform product research and development to adjust to the market situation.
