Heaptalk, Jakarta — The Indonesia International Furniture Expo (IFEX) 2025 will be held again from March 6 to 9, 2025, at JIExpo Kemayoran, to celebrate a decade of contributions and efforts in advancing Indonesia’s furniture and craft industry internationally.
“In its ten-year journey, IFEX has consistently pushed for market expansion for Indonesian furniture and crafts products and empowered local craftsmen to reach the global stage,” stated Dyandra in a written press release.
Organized by the Indonesian Furniture and Craft Industry Association (HIMKI) and Dyandra Promosindo, this exhibition will feature more than 500 curated exhibitors showcasing over 5,000 furniture and craft products. With a total exhibition area of 65,000 square meters, the event will highlight innovative designs, high-quality products, and natural raw materials from Indonesia that can attract buyers from various countries. As part of the Asia Furniture Show Circle, a series of leading furniture exhibitions in Asia, IFEX reaffirms its role in the global furniture market.
“With its achievements in the previous year, IFEX has further proven its role as one of Indonesia’s promising export potentials, especially in the furniture and crafts industry. Last year, IFEX recorded on-the-spot transactions of US$300 million, attracting thousands of visitors from 117 countries,” said Dyandra.
Indonesia’s furniture and crafts industry has promising export potential and a significant market share in America, Europe, and East Asia. Indonesia’s competitive advantage lies in its ability to produce high-quality products at competitive prices, with unique designs and sustainable natural materials.
“The Indonesian furniture and crafts industry is experiencing rapid growth, with export markets expected to surge by 5-8%, while the domestic market also shows promising growth of 4-6%. Based on projections from various research institutions, the Indonesian furniture and crafts market is expected to grow by 6.33% from 2023 to 2028, reaching a value of US$4.24 billion in 2028. Thus, IFEX is tangible proof that Indonesia has the potential to become the world’s furniture and crafts production center, significantly contributing to national economic growth,” explained Dyandra.
Daswar Marpaung, President Director of Dyandra Promosindo, added that IFEX 2025 is a grand stage for Indonesian designers and craftsmen to showcase their best works and meet international buyers, expanding their business networks.
“With the addition of the Jakarta International Expo Convention and Theatre area, visitors will have a greater opportunity to meet with leading designers, producers, and distributors and enjoy carefully curated products. IFEX 2025 is ready to facilitate the creation of strong business networks and boost the growth of Indonesia’s furniture and crafts industry,” concluded Daswar Marpaung.
