BCA Tiket.com Travel Fair 2025 arrives earlier in May

BCA Tiket.com Travel Fair 2025 will be held from May 2 to 4 at Gandaria City Mall in South Jakarta.

Heaptalk, Jakarta — The BCA Tiket.com Travel Fair is set to return for its third edition from May 2 to 4, 2025, at the Main Atrium of Gandaria City Mall in South Jakarta. Organized by Indonesia’s online travel agent (OTA) Tiket.com in collaboration with BCA, the travel exhibition is being held earlier than in previous years to meet the growing travel needs of the public ahead of the holiday season.

According to the 2024 National Webinar data from Tiket.com and the Ministry of Tourism, domestic travel among tourists peaks in May and June. Therefore, this exhibition is being held earlier to help travelers better plan their vacations and explore the beauty of various domestic destinations.

“The strong enthusiasm from the public has motivated us to host the fair earlier than in previous years. Especially considering that this May already includes several holidays and long weekends, giving people the perfect opportunity to find the best travel deals,” said George Hendrata, CEO of Tiket.com, during a press conference at the company’s office in Slipi, Jakarta (04/29).

I Ketut Alam Wangsawijaya, Executive Vice President of BCA, explained that the BCA Tiket.com Travel Fair has consistently received a positive response, especially from those looking to travel. According to collected data, public interest in the event rose 33% last year. Hopefully, this year’s fair will see continued growth and an equally strong response from visitors. “This is our motivation—to deliver what our customers seek. Planning is an essential part of travel for most people,” Alam said.

George added that bookings for travel products typically show a significant week-to-week increase leading up to holiday periods. Tiket.com recorded a 41% rise in travel bookings each week ahead of the upcoming 2025 Eid holidays, indicating strong and consistent interest from the public in planning trips during the holiday season.

To help travelers better prepare, the BCA Tiket.com Travel Fair 2025 will feature various promotions, including flight tickets, accommodations, and domestic and international travel attractions. The event is expected to serve as an ideal platform for people to plan their dream vacations well in advance.

“Our strategic collaboration with BCA also offers additional promotions for those attending the fair in person. As one of Indonesia’s leading private banks, BCA supports visitor payment convenience to ensure that every travel plan is easy, safe, and comfortable,” George concluded.
